Can you act as one of our legal witnesses if we elope just the two of us?
Yes, absolutely! We have happily signed as legal witnesses for many couples eloping privately at the Pyrmont Wedding Registry or secluded Sydney lookouts. Just let us know in advance.
How much time do we need for a Pyrmont Wedding Registry shoot?
A 2-hour collection is usually the ideal sweet spot. It allows 15–20 minutes for arrival and settling in before the ceremony, with the option of a 30-minute first look beforehand. From there, we’ll capture your legal ceremony (approximately 15-20 minutes), family hugs and group photos, followed by a relaxed 45–60-minute portrait walk along the harbour waterfront.
What happens if the weather is rainy on our elopement day?
Because elopements involve smaller numbers, we have tremendous flexibility. Light rain and overcast skies actually create gorgeous, soft portrait lighting. We can use umbrellas and can easily shift portrait locations to covered heritage colonnades, verandahs, or cozy city bars.
How many edited photos do we receive?
We don’t cap your memories. For a 2-hour elopement, couples typically receive 150+ individually calibrated high-resolution photographs. For a 4-hour micro-wedding, you can expect 300+ images.
What is your file backup process?
We're probably a little obsessive when it comes to data security. Your memories are far too important to trust to a single device, which is why we secure your images at every single stage:
- In the Camera: My primary camera is a Canon R6 Mark III, which records every single shot simultaneously to two separate memory cards in real time.
- On the Day: I carry three professional camera bodies to every wedding - two in active use and one pure backup.
- At the Studio: Our backup process begins right at your reception. Once home, your files are immediately copied to three hard drives and stored in separate locations, including off-site backup storage. Your memories are far too important to trust to a single device.
How quickly do we receive our photos?
